Rufus and Dan co-founded sketch group Dutch Elm Conservatoire in 2002, and were nominated for the Perrier Award in 2005. As performers, they have appeared in numerous TV comedies, including “The Office”, “Extras”, “Lead Balloon” and “The Armstrong & Miller Show”.

As a writing team, their sketches can be seen and heard on the forthcoming “School Of Comedy” (E4), Jon Culshaw’s “The Secret World” (Radio 4) and Series 3 of “Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show” (ITV2). They are also writing a Comedy Lab for Channel 4, due to film this summer. In 2008, they co-wrote a Dutch Elm Conservatoire sketch pilot for Granada, script edited by Jeremy Dyson.

Other writing credits include “Fur TV” (MTV), “Dog Face” (E4), “Conspiracy” (Celador), “Under One Roof” (BBC3), “Comedy Cuts” (ITV1), “Comedy Shuffle” (BBC3), “The Bearded Ladies” (Radio 4) and “The Dutch Elm Conservatoire” (Radio 4 Pilot).

Hobbies include cycling, running and driving Rufus home after parties.
