Jamie Crichton was Head of Development at Really Useful Films for 7 years and has worked as a freelance producer and director. In 2006 he set up his own production company, Peppermint Pictures, with producer Austin Shaw.

As a writer, he has adapted Michael Morpurgo’s best-selling children’s book THE BUTTERFLY LION and has recently completed his first original screenplay BOGLAND, set during the troubles in Northern Ireland, which Neda Armian (Rachel Getting Married) is attached to produce.
