Maya is an actress and new writer. She has recently been invited to participate in workshops with both the BBC Writersroom Comedy Studio and Soho Theatre. Maya has also developed a sitcom under the BBC 3 ‘Funny On Three’ initiative and had a short play performed at the 2012 Off Cuts Festival at the Riverside Studios. As an actress Maya trained at LAMDA and has worked on Stage, Film, Radio and TV, most recently on the new BBC 1 sitcom ‘Citizen Khan’.
